Network Engineering Support
• The Candidate Team shall assist with continuous monitoring of IT systems that are required to sustain Customer accreditation of these systems.
• The Candidate Team shall coordinate engineering projects including performing technical risk assessment, de-conflict implementations, and resolve technical questions or conflicts.
• The Candidate Team shall deploy and maintain network systems.
• The Candidate Team shall diagnose network issues and follow troubleshooting procedures for restoring the network to optimal performance levels
• The Candidate Team shall gather performance and utilization metrics from infrastructure components and proactively inform the Customer when defined thresholds are met.
• The Candidate Team shall guide networking engineering efforts in the hardware, software, and virtual infrastructure domain.
• The Candidate Team shall maintain up to date network topology drawings.
• The Candidate Team shall perform moderately complex network designs and upgrades using existing technology with limited guidance.
• The Candidate Team shall perform Tier-3 engineering and support for virtualization infrastructure, consisting of virtual servers, virtual desktops, and automation solutions.
• The Candidate Team shall plan network configurations for integration into the network, using knowledge of the performance characteristics of the systems being added to the network and the specifications for network interfaces to insure effective integration and optimal network performance.
• The Candidate Team shall prepare technical proposals for presentation to engineering review boards to make changes or add new technologies to the network.
• The Candidate Team shall provide system documentation to system security managers to support A&A efforts.
• The Candidate Team shall review user requests for upgrades or additions to the network to assess impact on network performance.
• The Candidate Team shall shepherd and perform engineering efforts in the areas of Windows and Linux servers, workstations, storage, and virtualization.
• The Candidate Team shall support network life cycle stages such as design, configure, test, deploy, and maintain.
• The Candidate Team shall utilize network analysis tools to identify performance problems in the network.
• The Candidate Team shall diagnose and resolve technical problems with overseas populations.
• The Candidate Team shall direct or perform the installation of IT infrastructure as well as the installation and configuration of operating systems and applications.
• The Candidate Team shall inspect and test all equipment prior to deployment to respective overseas locations.
• The Candidate Team shall make recommendations on the best deployment strategy, considering the Customer’s business priorities for any application or tool.
• The Candidate Team shall provide end-to-end support of field network and forensic capabilities.
• The Candidate Team shall provide real-time and 24/7 on-call support to worldwide users.
• The Candidate Team shall provide Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other integrated documentation to support the success of field users and the program.
• The Candidate Team shall provide technical support to various Customer developed and COTS forensic application developers ensuring the integrity of data flow and enhance business efficiency and insights.
• The Candidate Team shall research and recommend systems, equipment and technologies to improve and enhance existing systems.
• The Candidate Team shall use application deployment guides and information from application developers to determine the most efficient and performant IT infrastructure components to deploy a particular application.

Mandatory Requirements:
1. Demonstrated experience analyzing existing systems and identifying necessary corrective actions and improvements.
2. Demonstrated experience building, maintaining and troubleshooting gold image hard drives.
3. Demonstrated experience coordinating and performing security testing.
4. Demonstrated experience creating network topology diagrams.
5. Demonstrated experience designing, configuring and troubleshooting Routing and Switching systems (Cisco expertise required).
6. Demonstrated experience implementing L2 and L3 VPN across an MPLS network.
7. Demonstrated experience installing, maintaining, and configuring Aspera Enterprise Server and Aspera P2P.
8. Demonstrated experience performing configuration and management of automation solutions
9. Demonstrated experience performing configuration and management of Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) and vRealize Suite.
10. Demonstrated experience performing configuration and management of virtual networks and servers and virtual workstations.
11. Demonstrated experience performing configuration and management of VMware vCenter and VMware NSX-T.
12. Demonstrated experience performing Hypervisor deployments.
13. Demonstrated experience using forensic software including Cellebrite, XRY, WinHex, FTK, and Autopsy.
14. Demonstrated experience with Gateway Redundancy Protocols to include HSRP and VRRP.
15. Demonstrated experience with network IP address management.
16. Demonstrated experience with network security such as firewalls and ACL’s.
17. Demonstrated experience with Routing Protocols to include OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
18. Demonstrated experience with vulnerability scanning tools.
19. Demonstrated experience working in Local Area Network (LAN) environments and Wide Area Network (WAN) environments.
20. Demonstrated experience working with TCP IP protocol suite, IP subnets and masking, and routing protocols.
21. Demonstrated hands on experience engineering the design, build, and configuration of Linux servers and virtual infrastructure.
22. Demonstrated hands on experience performing administration, troubleshooting, patching, and support of Linux servers and virtual infrastructure.
23. Demonstrated hands on experience performing engineering, implementation, and troubleshooting of VMWare virtualization infrastructure.
24. Demonstrated hands on experience performing risk analysis for proposed IT infrastructure changes.
25. Demonstrated hands on experience performing system monitoring and analysis, including root cause analysis of system faults and outages.
26. Demonstrated experience working with vendors on system troubleshooting.
Optional Requirements:
1. Demonstrated experience explaining protocols, technical procedures and processes clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences.
2. Demonstrated experience with Software Defined Networking technologies, such as Cisco ACI and VMware NSX-T.
3. Demonstrated experience with load balancing technologies, such as F5 BIG-IP and Citrix Netscaler.
